The 11th TUI Rhodes Marathon will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, with the South Aegean Region to continue its role as the main co-organizing authority uninterruptedly from the very first event.
Her consistent, timeless and substantial contribution has acted as a "catalyst" for the successful course and continuous evolution of the race, which has now become established as an institution for the global running community.
This strong partnership, based on a shared vision, strategic planning and consistency, continues dynamically, constantly strengthening the international footprint of the event and contributing to the emergence of Rhodes and the South Aegean as a leading sports and tourist destination. The TUI Rhodes Marathon is now a living example of how synergy between institutions and the organization can create an event with international appeal and prospects for further development.
"We were there in 2014, at the beginning of this journey with just 134 athletes, and we are proudly here this year, at the 11th Rhodes Marathon, with more than 5,500 participants from around 70 countries. For us, the Marathon is not just a top sporting event. It is a great celebration of sports, tourism and culture. It is the very embodiment of our island identity and extroversion. We support and embrace every step of this journey, placing our islands at the center of the global sports map and honoring everything that the South Aegean stands for," said the Regional Governor of N. Aegean. George Hadjimarkos for the collaboration with the TUI Rhodes Marathon.
For her part, the President of the Organizing Committee, Marietta Papavassiliou, stated: "The South Aegean Region has been a stable and valuable companion in the course of the TUI Rhodes Marathon from the very beginning. Its long-term support and its substantial contribution to the organization and development of the race have been decisive for it to evolve into an internationally recognized institution for the running community. Our cooperation is based on trust, consistency and a shared vision for the promotion of Rhodes and the South Aegean as a reference point on the global sports map. We continue dynamically together, investing in the quality, extroversion and sustainable development of the event. We are confident that with the continued support of the Region and the Governor Mr. Giorgos Hadjimarkos, as well as with the cooperation of all the race supporters, the TUI Rhodes Marathon will continue to evolve, inspire and achieve even higher goals in the coming years."
Registrations for the major races (Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km) have been closed (sold out), while for the others they must be completed by tomorrow, Friday, April 17, 2026, through the official race website: https://www.rhodesmarathon.gr/
They are also accepted at the offices of EAS SEGAS Dodecanese (inside the auxiliary Diagoras Stadium), from 9 am to 2 pm.
Co-organizers of the race are, the Civil Non-Profit Company “RHODES MARATHON”", the Region of South Aegean, ο Municipality of Rhodes and the EAS SEGAS DodecaneseThe event is supported by Rhodes Hotel Association, the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Dodecanese Antiquities Office while it is under the auspices of General Secretariat of Sports, of Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and the Greek Tourism Organization-GNTO.
Ο TUI Rhodes Marathon is carried out with the certification of SEGAS and the International Road Marathon Federation AIMS, on an excellent coastal route that "runs" through the most important sights of Rhodes.
The TUI is the new Title Sponsor and Distribution Partner of TUI Rhodes Marathon, contributing to strengthening the international visibility of the event.
