The response of runners from Greece and abroad to the race has been extremely great. TUI International Marathon of Rhodes to be held on April 26, as compared to the end of January last year, this year's race records increase in the order of 30%.
This image takes on even greater significance when you consider that this year the race will be held three weeks later, on April 26, while last year it was held on April 6 and broke all participation records.
The participants' trust in the TUI Rhodes Marathon confirms the continuous development of the event, with runners agreeing that the excellent organization, the beautiful routes by the sea and the Medieval City, as well as the beauties of Rhodes, are strong attractions for someone to take part in the race.
Regarding the confidence of the runners, the President of the Organizing Committee of the TUI Rhodes Marathon Marietta Papavassiliou emphasized:
"The increase in participation by 30% at this time is the greatest reward for us. It shows that the race has become established internationally and that Rhodes is developing into a strong sports tourism destination. We are waiting for all the runners with great joy and are working even harder so that this year's event offers another high-level experience to everyone."
Ο TUI Rhodes Marathon continues to strengthen its position on the global running map, attracting athletes from Greece and abroad and substantially contributing to the promotion of Rhodes as a leading sports and tourist destination.
Registration continues until April 17th on the event website. rhodesmarathon.gr and those interested can register for the distances of Marathon, of Half Marathon, as well as in the competitions of 5 and 10 kilometers.
