SEGAS President Sofia Sakorafa: "I was impressed by the Rhodes Marathon"

It's been ten years since TUI Rhodes Marathon  and the event, in Rhodes on April 6, 2025, will have an anniversary character with parallel events and many surprises.

Ο SEGAS has supported the race since its first year as the most important sporting event in Southeastern Greece and continues to do so until now with the President Sofia Sakorafa to state that she was impressed by the organization: "The Rhodes International Marathon has been established for a decade as one of the most important running events held every year in the Greek territory and certainly the largest race on a public road in southeastern Greece. It is an excellent competitive opportunity for our long-distance champions, as well as for amateur runners who enjoy the joys of sports.

I am particularly pleased to see that every year the Marathon attracts more and more participation from foreign runners from dozens of countries, thus contributing to the establishment of the beautiful island of Rhodes, beyond being a tourist destination, as an ideal sports destination. I had the pleasure of attending previous Marathons in Rhodes and was impressed by the organization, but also by the natural beauty of the landscape that highlights emblematic places of the island.

I'm sure that this year's, 10^ous "The Rhodes International Marathon will be crowned with organizational and competitive success and that the runners who will take part in the race will experience another wonderful, unforgettable experience on our emerald island."

Registrations for the TUI Rhodes Marathon continue for the events of the Marathon, Half Marathon, 5 and 10 km, on the race's website https://www.rhodesmarathon.gr/ and is an opportunity for those interested to benefit from preferential prices on tickets and accommodation.

Co-organizers of the race are, the Civil Non-Profit Company MARATHON OF RHODES, η EAS SEGAS Dodecanese, η Region of South Aegean and the Municipality of Rhodes-DOPAR. Also, the race is supported by the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce, the Rhodes Hotel Association and the Museum of Modern Greek Art of the Municipality of Rhodes, while it is under the auspices of EEA. It is carried out with the certification of the SEGAS and the International Road Marathon Federation AIMS, on an excellent coastal route that "runs" through the most important sights of Rhodes.
