Participate in the Rhodes Marathon, offer food to the "Love Connection"

The practical solidarity of the citizens of Rhodes to those in absolute need is to be confirmed once again through the "International Marathon of Rhodes" and the "Love League" who are working together for this purpose.

The participants of this year's Rhodes Marathon and all the parallel races, as well as the friends of classical sports who will attend them, are invited to collect food that will be distributed by the Love Association to our fellow citizens in immediate need during the Easter holidays. 

So we ask all participants and all fans who will be at Madraki on Sunday to show their love and solidarity to their fellow man.

Food will be collected at the Registration Centre, at the Museum of Modern Greek Art - Nestorideion Hall (New Wing), Ioannou & Pavlos Nestoridis Street (formerly Ko), on Friday 19 April 15:00 - 20:00 and Saturday 20 April 10:00 - 19:00 and on Sunday the day of the games. The following packaged products are proposed: Olive oil, Sugar, Flour, Pasta (spaghetti or barley), Evaporated milk, Rice, Rice, Chickpeas, Beans, Lentils.

      -The race will be run by the winner of the Athens Marathon Panagiotis Karaiskos and its ambassador is the Olympic champion Pyrros Dimas!

  -Co-organizers of the race are, the NGO MARATHONIOS RODOS RODOS, the EAS SEGAS Dodecanese, the South Aegean Region. Also, the race is supported by 

by the Municipality of Rhodes, the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce and the Rhodes Hoteliers Association, while it is under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Organisation. It is certified by SEGAS and the International Road Marathon Federation AIMS, on an excellent coastal route that "runs" through the most important sights of Rhodes.
