Timeless, essential and effective cooperation between the Rhodes Marathon and the South Aegean Region

On Sunday 21 April will take place the International Marathon of Rhodes with runners

from 52 countries of the world and the participation of the South Aegean Region as the main co-organizing authority. With the long-standing support of PNAI, the race has evolved

to an "institution" for the international running community, making it a "global" sporting rendezvous in the South Aegean!

"9 years ago we made a commitment to put Rhodes at the centre of international racing interest. Today, the Rhodes Marathon attracts more than 3500 athletes from all over the world at the start of the tourist season.

 Over the years, the Rhodes Marathon has developed a culture of cooperation and teamwork as a central guiding principle and we are particularly pleased that PNAI has played a substantial and decisive role in shaping this perception."

-Registrations continue and those interested can register for the distances of the Marathon, Half Marathon, 5 and 10 km, on the race's website https://www.rhodesmarathon.gr. The race will be run by the winner of the Athens Marathon Panagiotis Karaiskos and his ambassador is the Olympic champion Pyrros Dimas.

-Co-organizers of the race are, the NGO MARATHONIOS RODOS RODOS, the EAS SEGAS Dodecanese, the South Aegean Region. Also, the race is supported by the Municipality of Rhodes, the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce and the Rhodes Hotel Association, while it is under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Organisation. The race is certified by SEGAS and the International Road Marathon Federation AIMS, on an excellent coastal route that "runs through" the most important sights of Rhodes.
