March 22, 2024Proskto participate in the Rhodes International Marathon on April 21, 2024 sent
to the Directorates and School Units of Primary Education & Secondary Education of South Aegean, but also to the School Counsellors of Physical Education, the Regional Director of Primary Education
and Secondary Education of South Aegean Ioannis Papadomarkakis.
His invitation states:
"The Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of South Aegean pays special attention to actions and programs that promote quality of life
of students, such as sport and well-being, as well as the cooperation of the School with the local community. In this context, we would like to inform you about the 9th Marathon Road Race in the city of Rhodes, on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
The event is implemented by the E.A.S. S.E.E.G.A.S. Dodecanese, the South Aegean Region and
the Municipality of Rhodes. We hope, as in the 2023 Marathon, your participation will mark the success of this year's event.
The event also includes shorter routes, such as Half Marathon, 10.000 m, 5.000 m and 1.000 m.
The 1,000-meter route is exclusively for children of young ages (primary schools).
Please inform the School Units in your area of responsibility so that, if they wish, students, teachers and parents can participate.

Also, the race is supported by from the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce and the Rhodes Hoteliers Association, while it is under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organisation. It is certified by SEGAS and the International Road Marathon Federation AIMS, on an excellent coastal route that "runs" through the most important sights of Rhodes.
