Ο International Marathon of Rhodes in the framework of the parallel events and its continuous effort for the dissemination of the Olympic Idea and the sporting spirit, organizes a national painting competition for kindergarten, primary, secondary and high school students attending schools in Greece and abroad.
The competition is on the theme "Sports and Muses" and is made in cooperation with Children's Gallery of Greece, the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the National Olympic Academy and has a duration until 30 March 2023.
All artwork must be original, hand-drawn on art paper or A3 canvas. Prizes will be awarded to the winning artwork in each age category, and honorary participation certificates will be given to all students who take part in the competition regardless of their ranking.

This is the third time that the International Marathon of Rhodes, which this year will be held in 30 April, organizes a national painting competition in cooperation with the Children's Gallery of Greece and the response of the children on previous occasions has been great.
The President of the Organizing Committee of the Rhodes Marathon Marietta Papavassiliou stated: "The cooperation with the Children's Gallery of Greece has developed on solid foundations and we are delighted to continue it this year in the framework of the 8th edition of the Children's Gallery of Greece.th International Marathon. The response of the students was the reason why we are supporting the competition again this year and have included it in the side events, in order to make the message for the integration of sport in everyday life even stronger".

Co-organizers of the race are the Non-profit Civil Society MARATHON OF RHODES, η EAS SEGAS Dodecanese, η Region of South Aegean and the Municipality of Rhodes-DOPAR. Also, the race is supported by the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce, while it is under the auspices of EEA. It is carried out with the certification of the SEGAS and the International Road Marathon Federation AIMS, on an excellent coastal route that highlights in the best way the sights of the Rhodes.
