The iconic runner Maria Polyzou for one more year supports the International Marathon of Rhodes which will be held for the 8th time on 30 April 2023 on the beautiful island of the Dodecanese.
The leading Greek marathon runner in the classic distance, from the very first moment supported the event and has participated many times, emphasizing each time her love for the Rhodes Marathon and for the Island. 2022 was a special year, because she also presented her book "Don't give up" by KEY BOOKS, at the Museum of Modern Greek Art of Rhodes and at the New Wing of Nestoridesos Melathros, winning the admiration of everyone for the strength of her soul and the greatness she hides inside.
Η Maria Polyzou and this year supports the International Marathon of Rhodes underlining: "I have the Rhodes International Marathon in my heart because it is an excellent race in which one deserves to take part. The organisers are very hospitable, the route is beautiful by the sea and the Old Town and Rhodes is one of the best sporting destinations for spring.

The runners, if they register their participation in time, have the opportunity to benefit from preferential prices on tickets and accommodation, combining the stay in Rhodes with the holiday of May Day.
Co-organizers of the race are the Non-profit Civil Society MARATHON OF RHODES, η EAS SEGAS Dodecanese, η Region of South Aegean and the Municipality of Rhodes-DOPAR. Also, the race is supported by the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce, while it is under the auspices of EEA. It is carried out with the certification of the SEGAS and the International Road Marathon Federation AIMS, on an excellent coastal route that highlights in the best way the sights of the Rhodes.
