Ο 8ous International Marathon of Rhodes will be held on 30 April 2023 and already the race confirms for one more year its international character.
Although there are more than 100 days to go until the event, already the entries of athletes come from 35 countries, proving the esteem in which the race is held in the global running community and the reputation it has created outside the borders.
Apart from Greece, the neighbouring countries and most European countries, runners from particularly distant destinations such as Australia, Singapore, Canada and the United States have registered.
It is worth noting that many of the runners who have registered for this year's race have taken part in the event in the past. The unique running experience they had, along with the high quality facilities of the race and the island, bring them back to Rhodes.
Registrations for the 8th Rhodes Marathon, which will be broadcast live from ERT3, continue and those interested can register for the distances of the Marathon, Half Marathon, 5 and 10 km, on the race's website https://www.rhodesmarathon.gr/
The runners, if they register their participation in time, have the opportunity to benefit from preferential prices on tickets and accommodation, combining the stay in Rhodes with the holiday of May Day.
Co-organizers of the race are the Non-profit Civil Society MARATHON OF RHODES, η EAS SEGAS Dodecanese, η Region of South Aegean and the Municipality of Rhodes-DOPAR. Also, the race is supported by the Dodecanese Chamber of Commerce, while it is under the auspices of GNTO & the Ministry of Tourism. It is carried out with the certification of the SEGAS and the International Road Marathon Federation AIMS, on an excellent coastal route that highlights in the best way the sights of the Rhodes.
