Comments on the 7^ο International Marathon Road of Rhodes!

The runners from Greece and abroad who participated in the race were left with the best impressions 7^ο International Marathon of Rhodes held on the Dodecanese Island on 10 April 2022.

All of them expressed their appreciation for the level of the race, the hospitality of the people of Rhodes and the special route next to the walls of the Medieval City.

The winner in the Half Marathon Konstantinos Gelaouzos in their message to the Organizing Committee pointed out among others: "I want to thank you for everything, the hospitality was incredible. The race was very beautiful and that is also due to your beautiful city. My thanks to the whole team."

In the same wavelength and the winner of the Marathon, the British Hannah Dupain: "I want to mention the excellent organization and the warm hospitality, the wonderful route and the people along the route who cheered us on.".

"The 7th Rhodes Marathon had a perfect return after two years of interruption due to the coronavirus pandemic. The event was very good and the slogan "Small, but very fine" is a real compliment to the Rhodes Marathon. It is a very good alternative as a marathon in spring, when the weather in central Europe is not yet the best for running. So I will recommend you: mark the 8th Rhodes Marathon in April 2023 in your running calendar!", noted Axel Künkeler, a journalist at the www.laufreport.de.

In 7^ο International Marathon of Rhodes took part about 1500 athletes from 53 countries in the events of Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km, observing all health protocols.

The 2022 Rhodes Marathon was broadcast live for the first time on Greek television, with ERT 3 starting the broadcast early and carrying the wonderful images all over Greece.

The President of the Organizing Committee and Vice President of the Dodecanese SEGAS, Mrs. Marietta Papavassiliou-Vakiani on the occasion of the successful conduct of the race, expressed her thanks to the sponsors, supporters and co-organizers of the race, noting that:
