The 7th International Marathon of Rhodes in "live broadcast" from ERT3.

The ERT is the "major sponsor" of communication and promotion of the 7th International Marathon of Rhodes! Next Sunday 10 April 2022, ERT 3 will broadcast the Rhodes Marathon and the 16th International Marathon "Alexander the Great" from Thessaloniki! The management of the channel decided to "marry" these two established global sporting events, wanting to bring the Greek region closer and at the same time, giving the opportunity to many viewers around the world (through ERTFLIX) to watch the two Marathons.

Also, the Rhodes Marathon will be covered by ERA SPOR.

This is the announcement of ERT 3, which has prepared an impressive trailer showing the games on Sunday:

"12,000 runners from more than 40 countries and the top Greek marathon runners, unite on the same day, at the same time in the South of Greece. with Northern Greece, the Dodecanese with Macedonia and are running for to cover the forty-two thousand one hundred and ninety-five meters in the historic Alexander the Great International Marathon from the ancient capital Macedonia, Pella in Thessaloniki and the International Marathon of Rhodes, on the coastal front of the Emerald Isle. The two world sporting events are the spring marathons, the half-marathon, the 10 and 5 km, the 1000 metres of primary school pupils bring the Greek region closer together. From 7.15 am onwards, live, parallel transmission, exclusively on ERT3".

Co-organizers of the race are, the Non-profit NGO MARATHONIOS RODOS, the Dodecanese SEGAS, the South Aegean Region and the Municipality of Rhodes-DOPAR. The race is supported by the Rhodes Hotel Association, while it is under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Ministry of Tourism.
