The title of International is fully confirmed by 7ous Marathon of Rhodes as although there is more than a month to go until the event, there are already many entries from abroad.
In total, athletes have declared participation from 42 countries, which brings the total number of participants from 45 countries in the 2019 race closer to the total number of participants.
Europe has its place in the International Marathon of Rhodes with the United Kingdom to have the most entries after of course the Greece, with 147 people. Followed by France with 43 and the Germany with 34, while there are entries from distant countries, such as Australia, η Colombia, η Indonesia, η Magadascari and the New Zealand, while registrations are still ongoing!
"The Rhodes International Marathon has evolved into a race-institution for the global running community. After the forced break of the last two years, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are delighted that it will once again be held with the physical presence of runners who will travel from Europe and distant countries around the world to Rhodes to take part in the event. We promise all participants a unique and safe running experience", said the President of the Organizing Committee of the Rhodes International Marathon, Marietta Papavassiliou.
Registrations for the 7th Marathon of Rhodes which will take place on 10 April 2022 continue for the events: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km race, 5 km race on the race website https://www.rhodesmarathon.gr/.
Eligibility for registration and participation in the event have the runners who will be fully vaccinated and those with a certificate of infection in the last 6 months.
Ο International Marathon of Rhodes, conducted with the certification of the SEGAS and the International Road Marathon Federation AIMS, on an excellent seaside route that highlights the best of Rhodes' attractions.
