November 14, 2019The presence of the International Marathon of Rhodes, at the events of 37th Authentic Marathon of Athens that were successfully completed on Sunday 10 November.
The President of the Organizing Committee Marietta Papavassiliou along with members Eleni Adamaki and Dora Anastasiadis, the President of the Dodecanese SEGAS, Vassilis Zikas, and the member of the SEGAS Board Michael Pavlous were at the Panathenaic Stadium at the finish line and applauded all the runners and the Run Greece team of Rhodes that participated in the race.
The previous day, Mrs Papavassiliou, Mrs Adamaki and Mrs Anastasiades were at the Marathon Mound for the Opening Ceremony of the Authentic Marathon, while they also participated in the Conference of the Association of International Marathons (AIMS), exchanging views and experiences with representatives of international marathons from around the world, aiming at continuous improvement of the Rhodes Marathon which will take place for the 7th time on 3 May 2020.
Finally, they also participated in the AIMS Gala for the awarding of the top marathon runners of the year, which took place with great pomp at the Athens Concert Hall.
