April 3, 2019Following the request of many interested athletes, the Organizing Committee of the 6th International Rhodes Road Marathon, which will be held on Sunday 14 April 2019, decided to extend the registration deadline (expired on 31 March) for the 5km, 10km and 1,000m races for the children of Primary Schools. For the Marathon and Half Marathon race, entries were closed as they reached the required number of participants (SOLD OUT).
The last date for registration for the 5km, 10km and 1,000m races for Primary School children is Monday 8 April 2019.

The Rhodes Marathon is co-organized by the South Aegean Region, the E.A.S S.E.G.A.S. of the Dodecanese, the DOPAR of the Municipality of Rhodes, and with the support of the Rhodes Hotel Association. It is held under the auspices of the Hellenic Tourism Organisation and has been included in the official AIMS calendar.
The major sponsor of the event is ERT. The Official Carrier of the Rhodes International Marathon is Aegean Airlines, which offers 20% discount on tickets to Rhodes from all Greek and European destinations included in its flight schedule. Blue Star Ferries, is the Official Ferry Sponsor and offers 50% discount to passengers and 30% to vehicles travelling to Rhodes with its ferries from Piraeus, Kos, Kalymnos, Leros and Syros.
The name sponsor of the 5 km race is the H Hotels collection. Atrium Hotels is the volunteer sponsor and Rodos Palace is the sponsor of the children's race. Mitsis Grand Hotel is the hospitality sponsor and the major sponsors are completed by Sunrise Hotel & Adidas.
The Best Western Plaza will host the secretariat of the race again this year. The green footprint of the race is ensured by the electric cars of Kosmokar-Xenakis SA/ASEM. The runners quench their thirst with the water of BAP Kougios, while the race is supported once again by the betting website interwetten, the Pharmaceutical Association of Dodecanese, the Greek cosmetics Garden of Panthenols, the company Kaukas, DERM.A.E., the hotel Semiramis and Amstel free. This year the sponsor of the digital promotion of the race is the marketing company Dingo and the sponsor of the promotion of the race abroad is ANT1 Satellite.
