March 12, 2018Among the thousands of runners who will take part in the 5th International Marathon of Rhodes on 29 April, will be Maria Polyzou for the third consecutive year.
The holder of the Panhellenic Marathon Record will run in the race, joining the front line of the "Marathon of Life" that her running team "Marathon Team Greece" has been running for 1.5 years in cooperation with the "Orama Elpidas" Association, in order to motivate as many people as possible to become volunteer bone marrow donors!
In Rhodes on 29 April, people from the "Vision of Hope" Association will be near the finish line, so that those who are interested can give some saliva on the spot and by filling out the relevant application form become volunteer bone marrow donors and marathon runners of the most beautiful marathon ever, this "Marathon of Life"!
Maria Polyzou sets the example by running marathon kilometers with vision and hope, contributing in her own special way to the social work of the Rhodes Marathon!
