O<\/b><\/span> 7th International Marathon of Rhodes <\/b>which will be held on 3 May 2020, <\/b>offers many points to runners aged 40 and over, giving them the chance to qualify for the world finals.<\/p>\n

\u039f Marathon of Rhodes<\/b> is an official member of the elite of the Marathon races that make up the Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Ranking Qualifying Series<\/b>, the first world age-based marathon ranking system!<\/p>\n

It is the unique race in Greece<\/b> which is a member of this global elite of races offering points to the runners for the world ranking and participation in the finals of 2021!<\/p>\n

Participants in a qualifying race Abbott WMM Wanda Age Group World Ranking Qualifying Series<\/b>, such as the Marathon of Rhodes<\/b>, will score points according to their age, time and gender, based on the following age groups for men and women: 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.<\/p>\n

Based on this ranking, the top runners from around the world will qualify for the second AbbbottWMM Wanda Age Group World Championships<\/b>, which will be held in 2021. The participation period started on 30 September 2019 and will end on 11 October 2020.<\/p>\n

The geographical spread of the selected marathon races that are part of the AbbottWMM Wanda Agre Group World Rankings<\/b> creates a global event, giving runners around the world the opportunity to be part of the new era of marathon running.<\/p>\n

The International Marathon of Rhodes will be held for the 7th time on May 3, 2020 and registration is already open for the events: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km Race, 5km Race, on the race website https:\/\/www.rhodesmarathon.gr\/<\/a><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n
