The sixth year of the <\/span>International Marathon of Rhodes<\/b>, which will take place this year\u00a0<\/span>at <\/span>14 April 2019<\/b> and since the first year, in 2014, it has many fanatical friends who have always participated in the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of them is the <\/span>University Of \u039a\u03b1\u03c1\u03b1\u03b2\u03b1\u03c3\u03af\u03bb\u03b7\u03c2<\/b>, the President of the Marathon Runners Association\u00a0<\/span>Telmessus<\/b>, who will run again this year and speaks highly of the race: \"The Rhodes Marathon is one of the oldest races in the Greek province and continues to be held with great success and with great hospitality, on this beautiful island. It has nothing to envy from the big races abroad and is done with great love and passion by all the members of the Organizing Committee\".<\/span><\/p>\n

\u039f <\/span>University Of \u039a\u03b1\u03c1\u03b1\u03b2\u03b1\u03c3\u03af\u03bb\u03b7\u03c2<\/b> who was the winner of <\/span>Rhodes Marathon 2016<\/b>, explains the advantages of the race: \"First of all, it is a very beautiful course. The Organizing Committee also arranges and makes special rates, on planes, boats and hotels, and it's easy to travel there and take part. Also, through the Marathon, you have the opportunity to get to know a wonderful island, such as Rhodes.\"<\/span><\/p>\n

For the President of the <\/span>Telmissou<\/b>, the love and hospitality offered by the people of Rhodes plays an important role: \"Telmissos participates every year in the Rhodes Marathon, this is the sixth time that we will go to Rhodes to take part in all the events, as our members will run in both the 5 and 10 km... We love the people of Rhodes, we support them, they support us and we will be there again\".<\/span><\/p>\n

Registration until 31 March<\/b><\/p>\n

The countdown for registration in the <\/span>Marathon of Rhodes<\/b> has begun as entries can be submitted online until <\/span>31 March<\/b>, on the race website:<\/span> https:\/\/rhodesmarathon.gr<\/span><\/a> for the distances of <\/span>Marathon<\/b>, of <\/span>Half Marathon<\/b>, of <\/span>10 km.<\/b> and of <\/span>5 km.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u039f <\/span>Marathon of Rhodes<\/b> organized by the <\/span>Region of South Aegean<\/b>, the <\/span>E.A.S. S.E.G.A.S.<\/b> Dodecanese, <\/b>Him <\/span>IOPAR<\/b> of the Municipality of Rhodes and with the support of the<\/span> Rhodes Hotel Association. <\/b>It is held under the auspices of <\/span>Greek Tourism Organisation<\/b> and has been included in the official calendar of the <\/span>AIMS. <\/b><\/p>\n

Big Communication Sponsor is the <\/span>ERT<\/b>. The official air carrier of the Rhodes International Marathon is\u00a0<\/span>Aegean Airlines<\/b>\u00a0which offers 20% discount on the tickets of all runners, to <\/span>Rhodes<\/b>, from all Greek and European destinations included in its flight schedule.
