{"id":569,"date":"2019-03-23T17:22:32","date_gmt":"2019-03-23T17:22:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/v2.rhodesmarathon.gr\/2019\/03\/23\/sxolikh-koinothta\/"},"modified":"2024-03-22T12:21:12","modified_gmt":"2024-03-22T12:21:12","slug":"sxolikh-koinothta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rhodesmarathon.gr\/en\/2019\/03\/23\/sxolikh-koinothta\/","title":{"rendered":"INVITATION TO THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 6TH INTERNATIONAL MARATHON ROAD OF RODOS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Invitation to the School Community of the South Aegean Region, to participate in the 6th International Marathon Road Rhodes on 14 April 2019, sent the Organizing Committee, through its member Ms. Adamantia Facea, Coordinator of the South Aegean Sustainability Committee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The invitation is addressed to all Directors of A \/ B and B \/ B Education South Aegean and was communicated to teachers of Physical Education Schools, states:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\"It is with great pleasure that we invite your school community, teachers, students and parents, to participate in the 6th International Road Marathon, which will be held in the city of Rhodes, on Sunday, April 14, 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alongside the 42.195 km Marathon, there will be races:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Half marathon and 10 km (for students over 15 years old)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Road 5 km (students over 12 years old) and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 1.000m. (only for children of Primary Schools, born in the years<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2007 to 2009).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To the participants of the 5km. and 10km. (high schools)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and Lyceums) will be given with their registration: a bag, a commemorative T-shirt, a number<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">participation, commemorative medal, provision of electronic timing chip,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">water supply, medical services and certificate of participation on line.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The school, high school or lyceum, with the most entries, will be given a sports<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">material, worth 300\u20ac.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To the participants of the 1000m. (Primary), with the<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">registration will be given: bag, commemorative t-shirt, commemorative medal,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">water supply, medical services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the group registration of schools (high schools and lyceums) for the<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5km. the registration fee is set at 5\u20ac per person, for the 10km. it is set at<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15\u20ac per person, the group registration of the Primary Schools in the 1000m., is<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Free. Maximum number of enrolment for the Municipal Schools 750 students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deadline for applications is Sunday 31 March 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In any case and regardless of the above date, registration for primary schools may be completed earlier, if the maximum number of children for the race (750 entries) is reached.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is no possibility to cover travel and accommodation expenses. However, Blue Star Ferries, as official sponsor, provides 50% discount to the runners and 30% to their vehicles, who will travel with its ships to Rhodes, from Piraeus, Kos, Kalymnos, Leros and Syros.
