The Rhodes Half Marathon, which will be part of the 6th International Marathon, is the second largest race in the programme of the leading sporting event on 14 April 2019. It will start at the same time as the Marathon race, i.e. at 7.30am, starting and finishing at Eleftherias Square.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 21.097m route is circular, the same as the Marathon, except that the athletes will do it once and not twice, like those who run the 42.195m. . <\/span><\/p>\n

The route that the half marathon runners will have to cover is as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

The registration for the 6th International Marathon Road Rhodes that will be held on Sunday 14 April 2019, as well as for the smaller races that accompany it (half marathon, 10.000m., 5.000m.) will be completed on 31 March 2019. Elementary School race, will take place until Friday 29 March 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n

The official carrier of the Rhodes International Marathon is AEGEAN, which offers a 20% discount on the tickets of all runners who will take part in the top sporting event of the southeastern Aegean. Also, the leading ferry company Blue Star Ferries, is the Official Shipping Sponsor and offers 50% discount to passengers (cabins & economy class) and 30% to vehicles that will travel with its ships to Rhodes, from Piraeus, Kos, Kalymnos, Leros and Syros.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Rhodes Marathon is organized by the South Aegean Region, the E.A.S.S.E.G.A.S Dodecanese, the DOPAR of the Municipality of Rhodes, as well as with the support of the Rhodes Hotel Association. It is held under the auspices of SEGAS and the Hellenic Tourism Organisation and has been included in the official AIMS calendar.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
