O <\/span>International Marathon of Rhodes<\/b> which will be held on <\/span>Sunday 14 April<\/b>, apart from its athletic side, has a charitable and social face by supporting institutions and foundations in need.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

For 2019, runners can make their participation even more meaningful in the <\/span>Marathon of Rhodes<\/b>, supporting the fundraising for the support of the <\/span>Greek Red Cross<\/b>, Regional Department of Rhodes \/ Volunteer Corps of Samaritans, Rescuers and Lifeguards, for the purchase of an automatic external defibrillator (AED).<\/span><\/p>\n

Either directly or through the <\/span>President of the Organizing Committee Marietta Papavasiliou<\/b> as well as three athletes, the <\/span>George Minos Minos<\/b>, of <\/span>Mateusz Manziar<\/b> and the <\/span>Katerina Asimakopoulou<\/b>, those interested can donate money for a good cause in the following way:<\/span><\/p>\n

You go to his website <\/span>Rhodes Marathon<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>www.rhodesmarathon.gr<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and click on the button <\/span>#RunForRedCross<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0Then click on the button <\/span>\"Fundraise\"<\/b> to visit the special page of the <\/span>Rhodes Marathon<\/b> on the fundraising online platform GivenGain.<\/span><\/p>\n

There you can click on <\/span>\"START FUNDRAISING\"<\/b> to start your own campaign in just 30 seconds by following the instructions and once completed, you can share the new campaign link on Social Media with everyone you know.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alternatively, you can choose one of the campaigns already running and make your donation there.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don't waste time and donate to the purchase of an automatic external defibrillator (AED), through the <\/span>Greek Red Cross<\/b>, Regional Department of Rhodes \/ Volunteer Samaritan Corps.<\/span><\/p>\n

Registrations for the 6th International Marathon of Rhodes are ongoing and those interested can <\/span>register electronically on the race website: <\/b>https:\/\/rhodesmarathon.gr<\/span><\/a> for the distances of the Marathon, the Half Marathon, the 10 km. and the 5 km.<\/span><\/p>\n
