The Organizing Committee of the International Marathon of Rhodes, which will be held on April 14th for 6 days, has made an important change.<\/span>\u03b7<\/span> consecutive time.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

For the better conduct of the 10 km race and after suggestions from the runners, it was decided to change the time and the route of the race, in order to make it even more accessible to more runners.<\/span><\/p>\n

The start will be at 07:40 in the morning instead of 12:15, ten minutes after the start of the marathon and half marathon. The direction has also been changed and runners will now move in the opposite direction from the old route.<\/span><\/p>\n

What does not change are the two prizes that were established last year, for the 5 and 10 km races, for the fastest and the most numerous team. In each race, the team with the best average of the net times of its first five runners and the team with the largest number of runners finishing will receive the award.<\/span><\/p>\n

A prerequisite for participation for each team is to have a team registration and to have at least five members finish the respective race.<\/span><\/p>\n

Registration for the 6th Rhodes International Marathon continues and those interested can register online at the race website: <\/span>https:\/\/rhodesmarathon.gr<\/span><\/a> for the distances of the Marathon, the Half Marathon, the 10 km. and the 5 km.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Rhodes Marathon is organized by the South Aegean Region, the Dodecanese Association of the Dodecanese, the DOPAR of the Municipality of Rhodes, as well as with the support of the Rhodes Hotel Association.
