Last Sunday a delegation from the Cyprus delegation of the<\/span> International Marathon of Rhodes <\/b>which will take place on 14 April 2019<\/span>, <\/b>to watch the conduct of the<\/span> Radisson Blue International Larnaka Marathon, <\/b>which was held for the second year with great success.<\/span><\/p>\n

The two races are twinned and have developed close cooperation, with the exchange of know-how and experience and the Rhodes mission which was honoured by the Mayor of Larnaca <\/span>Andrew Vyra<\/b>, consisted of the President of the Dodecanese SEGAS President <\/span>Vassilis Zeikas<\/b>, the member of the Board of Directors of SEGAS <\/span>Michael Pavlous<\/b>, the General Coordinator <\/span>Eleni Adamaki<\/b> and the Marketing Director <\/span>Dora Anastasiades<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u039f <\/span>Michael Pavlous<\/b> on behalf of <\/span>Marathon of Rhodes<\/b> said: <\/span>\"It was with great pleasure that we travelled to Cyprus and attended the second Radisson Blue International Larnaca Marathon, which was a great success. The twinning of the Rhodes Marathon with Larnaca took place last year and the close cooperation continues for the benefit of both races. We are especially grateful to Kostas Daltas and the Municipality of Larnaca for their hospitality and we look forward to welcoming them to Rhodes on 14 April for our race.\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The Executive Director of the <\/span>Radisson Blue International Larnaka Marathon Costas Daltas <\/b>he pointed out: \"We had been to Rhodes a few months ago and we are happy to welcome our friends here. We have a number of joint actions and we are very proud of this. We will continue these actions as Larnaca has a lot in common with Rhodes and we want to develop all these. I want to thank again our friends from Rhodes\".<\/span><\/p>\n

They travelled to Cyprus and took part in the <\/span>Radisson Blue International Larnaka Marathon, <\/b>the winner of the Rhodes Marathon George Minos and the winner of the Half Marathon Mateusz Manziar who won the trip as part of the cooperation between the two races. In fact, they did extremely well, as Minos finished first in the 10km and Manziar was second in the Half Marathon!<\/span><\/p>\n

THE REGISTRATIONS FOR THE RHODES MARATHON<\/b><\/p>\n

Registrations continue and <\/span>interested parties can <\/span>register electronically on the race website: <\/b>https:\/\/rhodesmarathon.gr<\/span><\/a> for the distances of the Marathon, the Half Marathon, the 10 km. and the 5 km.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u039f <\/span>Marathon of Rhodes<\/b> organized by the <\/span>Region of South Aegean<\/b>, the <\/span>E.A.S. S.E.G.A.S.<\/b> Dodecanese, <\/b>Him <\/span>IOPAR<\/b> of the Municipality of Rhodes, as well as with the support of the<\/span> Rhodes Hotel Association. <\/b>It is held under the auspices of <\/span>Greek Tourism Organisation<\/b> and has been included in the official calendar of the <\/span>AIMS. <\/b><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
