A few days have passed since the highly successful\u00a05th Marathon of Rhodes\u00a0<\/b>and the Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the date of the event.\u00a06th International Marathon\u00a0<\/b>which will be\u00a0the 14th of April 2019!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The early announcement of the date for the next race, helps the better planning of the runners who can book their trip in time and at better prices, while the setting of April 14, helps to increase the tourist season in Rhodes.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The President of the Organizing Committee and Vice-Regional Governor of Sports, Tourism and Culture Marietta Papavassiliou\u00a0<\/b>stated:\u00a0<\/b>\"The Rhodes International Marathon is a great sporting celebration in which athletes from all over Greece and the world meet. The success of this year's race, the positive comments of the runners and we are excited and give us strength to continue the effort to continue to upgrade the Marathon at all levels!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All this effort started from the love of a group of people to establish a great sporting event in Rhodes that will attract athletes from every corner of the world. We did not expect this tremendous response and we are happy to receive in multiples the love and energy we give. Thank you and we are committed to an even better event in 2019!\"<\/span><\/p>\n

The Organizing Committee would like to thank all those who participated and supported the\u00a05th Marathon of Rhodes\u00a0<\/b>which were really many. Special mention must be made of most of the\u00a0400 volunteers\u00a0<\/b>who\u00a0<\/b>with a smile and good mood helped in the smooth running of the games, but also to the residents of Rhodes who embraced the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also a big thank you to the sponsors who supported the\u00a0Marathon<\/b>. Gold sponsor was again this year Adidas through its local storeAdidas Rhodes<\/b>\u00a0and nominal sponsor of the race of 5 km.\u00a0The Hotels collection<\/b>. Also, the\u00a0Aegean Airlines\u00a0<\/b>was the official aviation sponsor and the\u00a0Blue Star Ferries,\u00a0<\/b>official sponsor of coastal transport.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/span>Sheraton Rhodes Resort<\/b><\/span>\u00a0supported the\u00a0<\/span>International Marathon<\/b><\/span>\u00a0as the main hospitality sponsor. Silver sponsor was\u00a0<\/span>TEN-T<\/b><\/span>\u00a0and volunteer sponsor was the hotels\u00a0<\/span>Atrium<\/b><\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>Communication Sponsor\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>of the 5th International Marathon of Rhodes is the\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Nova<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
