In history passed the <\/span>5th Marathon of Rhodes<\/b>, which took place last Sunday 29 April and was admittedly the best of the five races that have taken place so far.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The record registrations, the excellent times of the winners, the attendance of the people, but also the way in which the local community \"embraced\" the event, prove the success of the Marathon.\u00a0<\/span>This year's race had the most participants from abroad and the comments of experienced runners who have travelled all over the world to run in races, were more than triumphant for the<\/span> Marathon of Rhodes.<\/b><\/p>\n

\u039f <\/span>Konstantinos Flevas<\/b> who lives permanently in Great Britain and is the Greek with the most marathoners, having reached 187, he stressed: \"This was one of the most well organised marathons I have had the privilege of taking part in. Excellent effort from everyone: the race director, volunteers, officials and all the race people. Everything was so well organized and coordinated and there was enthusiasm everywhere. The beauty of the course was also unparalleled, even though it was quite hot. Luckily there was bottled water at every mile. I have run most races in the UK and this was my 2nd marathon in Greece, but I will definitely be back next year.\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Other runners, however, commented warmly on the race: \"I love this marathon and it's in my top 5. I have participated in many races outside of Europe and this was my first time in Rhodes. It was amazing from start to finish. The Pasta Party was one of the best I've been to and the course was spectacular. I couldn't set a personal record <\/span>because of the sun but the view was great. I will definitely recommend the race to him...\" <\/span>Caroline Jackson<\/b>, while the <\/span>Paul Monaghan<\/b> he pointed out: \"I have done so many marathons abroad but this was one of the best and it was organised by runners for runners. The Pasta Party was the best I've been to in a great location. The support during the race and afterwards was unparalleled. It was an unforgettable experience that you must have.\"<\/span><\/p>\n

\u039f <\/span>Kim Ingleby<\/b> he commented: \"The views are amazing, Rhodes is beautiful and the medals were great, so for a special experience and for a weekend, you should definitely do it. I recommend this race and Rhodes!\"<\/span><\/p>\n

Gold sponsor of the <\/span>Rhodes Marathon<\/b> was again this year Adidas through its local store <\/span>Adidas Rhodes<\/b> and nominal sponsor of the race of 5 km. <\/span>The Hotels collection<\/b>. Also, the <\/span>Aegean Airlines <\/b>was the official aviation sponsor of the <\/span>Rhodes Marathon<\/b> while the <\/span>Blue Star Ferries, <\/b>the official sponsor of ferry transport. <\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Sheraton Rhodes Resort<\/b> supported the <\/span>International Marathon<\/b> as the main hospitality sponsor.
